How to add your marquee announcement bar to your header

Have you purchased the qwiqode announcement bar and looking to add it to your header?

Ordinarily, our sections are meant to be installed and displayed on the main content area of web pages (between the header and footer) as independent content blocks, but with the marquee section, it's a bit different because you may want to replace the existing announcement bar that ships with your theme, or add one if your theme doesn't have that option.

So here's an easy way to add it to the top of your webpages!

We explain how to do this on the Dawn theme that is included with Shopify but it is possible to do this with most other themes. There are some limitations though if you want it to appear as part of a sticky header though. If you run into trouble, don't hesitate to reach out to us and we can help!
